FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WRAPS:

WHAT EXACTLY IS A VEHICLE WRAP?
A vehicle wrap is a durable, vinyl, adhesive-backed graphic that is applied directly to the painted
surface of the vehicle. The customers can decide how much of their vehicle they want covered in the
wrap, as they can come in any size, shape or design. A wrap can be used in different ways.  It can
serve as a mobile advertisement for a company, service or product and promote a brand.  It can also
be used to change the appearance of a vehicle as a cheaper alternative to a custom paint-job.

HOW LONG WILL THE VEHICLE WRAP LAST?
We offer a warranty for 7 years on all digital laminated vehicle wraps.  The wraps are removable if
desired.

WILL THE VINYL WRAP DAMAGE A VEHICLE’S PAINT?
The high performance vinyl used by WickedWraps should not damage a factory paint-job. If the
vehicle has been repainted it should a high-quality paint and be pre-tested to check how well the paint
adheres to the body. On poor quality painted and/or rusty areas the paint may lift off upon the
removal of the vinyl.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR CREATING A WRAP?
The process is a five-step process.

  1. 1. Concept Design
  2. The wrap process begins by creating a concept design. In order to do this, we first need to
know the type of vehicle the graphic is for, and what kind of graphic you need.  Second, we
need your logo, image, text and idea and previous marketing materials if available. There is
also an artwork setup fee if you do not provide your own artwork. We will incorporate your
current company look with your new ideas and our staff’s expertise.  If you don’t have any
logos, we know you have ideas, and we would love to help you design something for your
    business.
  3. At WickedWraps, we strongly believe that your company image is what will inevitably distinguish
you from your competition.  After the concept design stage of the process, you will see a rough
idea of what your graphic would look like on your vehicle.

  4. 2. Quote
  5. Once you have agreed to the concept design, the price is quoted.

  6. 3. Proof
  7. Prior to us printing any graphics, you will receive a finalized proof of your graphics on your
vehicle.  At this point, you will have the opportunity
  8. to make any last minute changes if necessary. After you have agreed to the proof, half-
    payment is required.

  9. 4. Print
  10. We utilize only the most innovative printing technology, ink and vinyl.  All graphics are printed
on Oracal Rapid Air vinyl and then laminated with Oracal Optically Clear Laminate. We know
you will be impressed with the quality of the print, the bright color, and the flawless texture of
    our graphics.

  11. 5. Install
  12. Our installers are certified by Oracal and are knowledgeable and experienced with the product.
We are happy to come to your home, office, shop or warehouse and install your graphics on-
site.  We are licensed, bonded and insured so you can be sure that your vehicle will be in good
hands. We remove all moldings, chrome, adhesives, and handles from your vehicle prior to
installation to create the most professional look.  After the graphics have been installed, we re-
adhere all of these accessories and expect the remaining payment balance.

HOW LONG DOES THE WRAP INSTALLATION PROCESS TAKE?
The time varies greatly depending on several things, such as the size of the project and ease of
scheduling. Generally, once the design has been approved and an appointment has been scheduled
for installation of the wrap, it should take a few hours on small graphics to 1-5 days on vehicle wraps.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE PRIOR TO VEHICLE INSTALLATION?
The vehicle must be extremely clean and free of all waxes, tar, oils, dirt, grease and etc. If not
delivered “clean” an additional “cleaning fee” will be charged.

HOW MUCH DOES A VEHICLE COST?
It is hard to estimate the cost of a vehicle wrap, and it must be seen first. The cost varies with the type
of vehicle and amount of design time. Generally, a partial-wrap can range from $500 to $3,500 and a
full-wrap can range from $1,500 to $5,000 and up.
