Testimonial: Bite Me Cupcakes’ Wrap is Key Ingredient to Success
In 2011, owners of Bite Me Cupcakes Jason and Kim Huntley decided to extend their already successful brick and mortar cupcake business to reach customers in new areas. After purchasing an old church bus, Jason and Kim knew for continued success another way to go is to get it wrapped. “We reached out to Wicked Wraps, spoke to Wade and with our vision and Wicked Wraps capabilities, after talking it over, we knew this was the shop we wanted to work with, explains Jason.
Wicked Wraps got to work on Bite Me’s wrap artwork, using their logo as inspiration and also incorporating photographs of their actual gourmet cupcakes. Once installed, the wrap successfully transformed Bite Me Cupcakes’ old church bus into a mobile marketing machine, complete with custom fabricated frosted hubcaps made to look like frosting.
“We were blown away by the end result of the bus wrap. Wicked Wraps turned our church bus into a work of art – it is bright and fun and represents our brand perfectly,” explains Bite Me Cupcakes’ owner, Kim. “We love how it makes everyone who sees it smile and take photos. Before we knew it, people were calling us and asking to ‘book’ the Bite Me bus for their events and parties. The wrap was truly a success,” she adds.
Shortly after the bus wrap was completed, Jason and Kim moved their shop from Snohomish to Everett Mall. While they were in search of an additional store front, Jason and Kim knew they wanted their counters wrapped and our sign made. Knowing who they wanted to get the job done, they reached out to Wicked Wraps to wrap their counters using Bite Me’s brand with their creative expertise and digital printing capabilities. We knew we wanted “The Best” explained Jason and Kim, owners of Bite Me Cupcakes & Bakery.
“We needed to invoke the same light-hearted feeling that the bus radiates and infuse that into our mall location. “We knew we wanted our counters wrapped and a sign made. Wicked Wraps made us a fabulous sign for our store and with great success wrapped our large serving counter with our logo and colors,” explains Kim. “The reaction we got from mall-goers and other mall tenants alike was overwhelmingly positive. With additional parties being booked, Bite Me Cupcakes vision with Wicked Wraps fabrication and wrapping expertise was an added asset because people loved it so much.”
Since wrapping the Bite Me Cupcakes’ bus and their signage, Wicked Wraps has also done a number of other wrap projects for Jason and Kim, including textured table top wraps for their bistro tables that customers have asked to purchase, and lit-back signs at their newest location in historical Everett.
“We can honestly say that our bus wrap was the best marketing investment we’ve ever made for the business. We are so grateful to have met Wicked Wraps and we’ll continue to be loyal customers for many years to come. Thanks for everything guys!” – Jason and Kim Huntley, Bite Me Cupcakes
